How to Calculate Commission
Commission is a fee paid to a salesperson, affiliate, or agent based on a percentage of a sale. To calculate it manually, simply multiply the sale amount by the commission rate (in decimal form).
Formula: Commission = Sale Price × (Commission Rate / 100)
For example, a $500 sale with a 10% commission yields $50 in earnings. The amount remaining after deducting the commission (if you’re the seller) would be $450.
